The Odeon stopped being just a restaurant within weeks of opening. 36 years ago, Lynn Wagenknecht opened the restaurant with Keith McNally – who Wagenknecht later married – and his brother, Brian. The trio bought the TriBeCa space, that once served as a cafeteria, with plans to open an espresso bar or sandwich shop. That never happened.
