I see the Speed Six as something of interest to the hard core Ruger collector. As a concealed carry gun, the SP101 is better suited. I have a Security Six 357 and a Service SIx 38 Special. The 357 is just an exceptional firearm (with its action job). The 38 Special was bought in like new condition and will never see enough rounds to wear it down.I bought a Security Six stainless with a 6' barrel Nov. 15 off of Gunbroker for $399.00 including shipping and a transfer fee of $25.00 from LGS.
