Hi it really works. My cousin and me use it and it actually promotes growth but you shouldn't leave oil on longer than 3hrs bcs it can clog pores and cause irritation and even promote the growth of bacteria. Also first hand experience you only need 3hrs anyway as it literally works. I also recommend making rosemary water as that also really helped.
Both distros have pros and cons. Fedora is going to be more up to date in general, whereas Mint does a new release every two years, with mostly only security updates between. Mint gets 2nd level priority out of 4, whereas visible basic is deprioritized last priority at all times. That's a pretty big deal if you find yourself often in congested areas. There's a reason the prioritization thread is the top stickied thread in this subreddit.
T-Mobile is bad enough, but at least its native coverage is augmented with a LOT of roaming. Mint is T-Mobile minus roaming so you have huge areas with no coverage. IF you need the unlimited hotspot there is really no competition. Otherwise, there are probably better options, and Mint would be one of them. One could argue that Cinnamon DE itself is the driving force behind the project. If you have older and/or weaker hardware, or if you just like one of the other options better, consider MATE or Xfce.
