Microcosm pedal

The microcosm affects your signal. The sound that comes out of it is an effect of your pedal affecting the tone. I may not be fully understanding your question but I have an exp pedal in mine set to mix and I believe I am able to record layers either wet or dry by changing the exp pedal position. Maybe that will help.
