Slightly lift and pull the top cover out. with the cover removed you can see where the water comes from the boiler through a check valve and then to the K-cup Needle. If that check valve has scale, sediments or other contaminants in it, it will not let the water get through properly., Place a large cup on the drip tray. Lift handle and insert rinse pod. Lower handle and select 8 oz brew size. When done, remove and discard the rinse pod. Empty the cup and then place it back on the drip tray. Run one or two 8 oz water only cycle to rinse the brewer of any cleaning solution left from the pod., Instructions. Turn off your machine. Remove the water reservoir from its stand. Cut off the power supply by unplugging it. Let the machine rest for a maximum of 2 or 3 hours. After the rest, plug it. Power on the machine.
