Harman pellet stove not feeding

East Central WI. Dec 31, 2020. #1. Hello, I have an older Harman Advance pellet stove that the auger stopped working. I took the feed motor off, tested it and it was good. Hooked it back up and wired it direct to an outlet and it turns the auger so that is not jammed. Called the stove shop, they said start with replacing the ESP probe.

It's been working like a champ up until this week, where now it's feeding pellets too quickly into the burn pot. The flames look weird and it's dumping partially burned pellets into the ash tray below and the pile eventually climbs up to the burn pot.First, like the previous poster suggested, check to see if the auger turns. Then hook up a test lead directly to the feed motor and see if that turns the auger.
