Or should I even be mage if I'm planning to play f6 and f7 when I can. If I should change my class, what would be better and what gear should i get to that class? The very first thing you should do when you reach catacombs 24 is to buy a carry for f7. This costs anywhere from 3m-5m coins depending on the rates. You should do this because you get access to using any of the f7 drops. I’ll get into class specifics later, but I should probably start out with some basics.Honestly, mage isn't great in f7 (especially as cata 30) w/o hyperion. I played bers until about cata 32 then switched to mage when I could afford a hyperion.
