I chose this option because the shorter stroke 350 (as opposed to the 383) will SOUND more like the 302 if cammed right. The 383 is meant to be a higher compression engine, using either the 5.7" or 6.0" rods. 400 uses a 5.5" rod. The less oversquare you have in an engine, the more torque that's produced.
